I hope you all of the familiar with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). If we are talking about MNRE, It's an organization which is operated by central ministry of Indian Government.

As per the courses which is operated by MNRE it's  duration time we are categorized these courses in to two parts.

A. Short term Course (STC):- 

        Goals that can happen quickly are called shot term courses (STC).A short term course is something you want to do in the near future. The near future means today,this week, this month or even this year.

            Under the short term course you can achieve fallowing courses which is given belowㅡ

1. Suryamitra 

2. National Institute Solar Energy (NISE) operated multiple course.

3. Other Miscellaneous 

1. Suryamitra :-

The Suryamitra Skill Development Programme is designed with the objective to develop skilled and employable workforce (Suryamitras) catering to the needs of Solar PV industries. The duration of the Suryamitra Skill Development Programme is three months consisting of 600 hours including classroom training, lab practical, SPV plant exposure, On The Job Training (OJT), soft skills and entrepreneurship skills. Min. 10th Pass + ITI in Electrician/ Wireman/ Electronics Mechanic/Fitter/Sheet Metal. Each batch contains around 30 seats. At the end of the Suryamitra programme, the host institute facilitate the trainees for placement.

2. National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) :-

National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is also operated multiple training programme related solar energy.These courses are design very well as per current renewable energy markets requirement like Start ups own business in solar energy, Electric vehicle technology, Design,Installation monitoring and commissioning of solar On grid & Grid connected systems etc. You can download NISE operated training programme list via given fallowing list

3. Other Miscellaneous :-

If we talk about other miscellaneous training program, then it is nothing but it is also a very well designed course. These courses are organized by various institutes and organizations such as National Center for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE), Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI), IIT, NIT etc. They do not provide a list of any training program in advance, but they keep updating the website of the institution from time to time.

B. Long term course (LTC):-

        Long term course are those courses you want to do the future in the future. Long term courses are required time and planning. It's not like that short term course that you can complete day,week,month & a year

1. Graduation :-

Bachelor of Vocational ( B.Voc ) in Renewable Energy Technology is the very well design course, which is introduced by the University Grants Commission(UGC) in the academic session 2015-16.

Currently this course is offered in many universities and institutes. The duration of this course is 3 years. Some of Universities name as University of Lucknow,University of Pune, Andhra Loyola College, MGCVG Chitrakoot, Tezpur University and St. Albert's College kochhi and other more universities are offer this course.

One thing is very good on this course that if any reason you are dropped this course Before completing this, then you will also awarded by Certificate, Diploma or Advance Diploma as per your course completion.
